Cocoa
Beach
We arrived for our
first day of vacation in Cocoa Beach, Florida on Sunday
November 15, 2009. Our hotel was right on the beach so
it only took a minute to walk to the beach from our room.
Erik loved the beach and we went there every chance we had.

The next day we saw Space Shuttle Atlantis launch - November
16, 2009. We took a bus to the causeway to see the
launch. When we got back to the hotel we cooked on the
grill at the hotel and then took a trip to the Cocoa Beach
pier.

Then we went to Brevard Zoo but decided not to go in when we
learned the train was down for repairs. We went
shopping downtown and then spent the rest of the day at the beach.
We ended our day at the hotel kiddie pool where we learned
that swim diapers don't hold in poop.- November 17, 2009

Since the train was back up and running we went to Brevard Zoo.
Erik go to feed a giraffe as well as lorikeets and
cockatiels. He did not like the Lorikeets because they
kept landing all over him. - November 18, 20009

We spent our last day of vacation
(November 19, 2009) at Kennedy Space Center. We
spent the morning at the beach because we didn't think Erik
would enjoy the Space Cente - boy were we in for a surprise.
Erik loved seeing the Saturn V rocket as it was
"HUGE". He loved the space memorabilia and even got to
meet an astronaut. We stayed at the center until
